Upgrading to EE2

Hey guys,
I'm in the process of upgrading a moderately sized site to EE2, and much to my dismay, there isn't an easy way to convert nGen fieldtypes to the native EE2 File fieldtype.

Since I haven't found much recently in regards to an nGen EE2 update, I'm just wondering if you have something that makes this upgrade process easier?
